New Atlas Charts Feature!

The MongoDB Charts team is rolling out a new release of Charts this week with a great new feature: Import and Export for dashboards.This long-awaited feature lets you do all this:

  • Export a dashboard to a file, and re-import it back to Charts when needed
  • Keep your dashboards under source control
  • Move or copy your dashboards between cloud projects or organisations
  • Easily change data sources during import
  • Share your dashboards with the community (provided everyone has access to the same data / schema)

This also provides a migration path for Charts on-prem customers looking to move to Charts cloud. If you have any customers in this situation, please reach out as we have an “off menu” export tool which can generate files that can be imported using this feature.
