Upcoming MongoDB Enterprise 4.0 EOL

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. MongoDB Enterprise v4.0 will be end-of-lifed at the end of April (in less than three months). After April 30:

MongoDB Enterprise v4.0 will not be supported by MongoDB, unless special arrangements are made through MongoDB Technical Support (the product is called Extended Lifecycle Support)
MongoDB Atlas will allow customers to deploy new Clusters running v4.0 through the April 30 date; at some point, these will be upgraded by MongoDB to v4.2 (with customer permission)
